Are you looking to get involved on campus? Are you interested in helping assist, plan, and execute some of Georgia State University’s largest events? Well, look no further because Campus Events is here to help you! Come out to our annual Meet & Greet on September 11 from 6-8 p.m. in the Lanier Suite which is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center.
At the Meet & Greet you will receive information on how you can get involved with Campus Events, whether you’d like to volunteer or become an associate board member. In both of these positions you will assist with premiere events such as The Distinguished Speaker Series, Blue at the Zoo, GSU Night at Six Flags, and many more! See you there!

Campus Events is proud to present the Centennial Comedy Show starring Amy Schumer! Amy is the creator, star and writer of Inside Amy Schumer, her hit Comedy Central TV show, and Comedy Central’s stand-up special, Mostly Sex Stuff. This is an event you will not want to miss! Blue at the Zoo
Join Campus Events and Spotlight Programs Board as we paint Zoo Atlanta blue! After closing for the day on September 20, 2013, Zoo Atlanta will reopen its gates for the Georgia State community for Blue at the Zoo. Students, faculty, staff and guests will have the zoo to themselves for a private event that will include music, food, face painting, and much more! Supported by Student Activity Fees. This event is open to Georgia State students, faculty, staff and their guests. Tickets are available for purchase at Campus Tickets.

Scandal Viewing Party
Campus Events and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated invite you to a Scandal Viewing Party! Join us at 8 p.m. in the Courtyard for snacks, activities, and music by DJ Peter Parker. SLAM ART! is a competition in which students form a team that includes two members: one spoken word poet and one visual artist. The competition will give each team three to five minutes for the visual artist to draw or paint their best work of art to the words that are flowing through the spoken word poet. The winner will be judged by audience applause so make sure to invite your friends!

Advance Screening: Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Campus Events invites you to attend a screening of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, only for Georgia State University students, faculty, staff, and their guests, a day before it is available to the general public. Tickets are limited in quantity, so purchase yours as soon as you can. Our agreement with Regal Cinemas requires that we not publicize our private screening in any manner other than a direct invitation to the Georgia State University community so you will not see any other publicity about this event.
Tickets are sold at cost for $12 each.
You must show your Georgia State University ID at the time of purchase.
Georgia State University students, faculty, and staff can purchase up to four (4) tickets per ID.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Campus Tickets.
Tickets are limited in quantity; we have a total of 351 available for purchase.
Seating is general admission.
